What I Eat on My LifeRx Plan (And What I Had to Unlearn)

What I Eat on My LifeRx.md Plan (And What I Had to Unlearn)

Spoiler: It’s not about restriction or tiny meals. It’s about supporting your body.

When I started LifeRx.md, I had to let go of a lot of old diet beliefs, like needing to eat 6 small meals a day or thinking carbs were the enemy.

Here’s what my routine looks like now:

  • Protein-first focus: I try to build every meal around 25–30g of protein.
  • Simple, satisfying meals: Think: turkey burger + greens, Greek yogurt bowls, protein smoothies, etc.
  • Flexible fasting: I don’t eat just to eat. If I’m not hungry in the morning, I don’t force it, but I also don’t starve myself.
  • Carbs with purpose: I still eat carbs, especially around workouts or busy days, but I try to go for ones that give me energy (fruit, potatoes, oats).
  • Hydration & minerals: Water, yes. But also minerals + electrolytes to help with energy and recovery.

What I had to unlearn:

  • That less food = more results
  • That hunger is bad
  • That wellness has to be rigid

How to Build a Routine That Supports Fatigue, Hormones, and Healing

GLP-1 meds can be powerful, but they’re not magic. You’ve got to show up for your body in other ways, too. Here’s what’s helped me feel like myself again:

1. Morning Light + Movement
Get outside in the first hour of the day. A short walk. Light stretch. It resets your circadian rhythm, boosts mood, and helps your body wake up.

2. Evening Routine for Sleep
Magnesium, CBD, herbal tea, or a calm-down playlist. Anything to help your nervous system settle. Because real healing happens in deep rest.

3. Protein + Strength Training
Muscle is metabolism. Even light strength training 2–3x/week keeps your bones, body, and hormones in sync.

4. Gut Health + Blood Sugar Stability
Less sugar, more fiber. Fewer spikes and crashes. Support your gut and your mood improves, too.

5. Supplements & Stacks
See the full GLP-1 Support Stack for what I take to support energy, mood, digestion, and overall wellness.

Reminder: None of this has to be perfect. It’s about learning your body and giving it what it needs, with consistency and care.

If no one’s told you today: you’re doing an incredible job tuning back into your body. It takes courage to unlearn all the noise and pressure we’ve been fed for years. You deserve to feel safe in your routine, proud of your progress, and connected to the version of yourself that’s healing. I’m cheering for you — always.
